Arabic vocabulary
How to say “they forgot” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَنَسُوا فَقْدَ الأَقْرَانِ،
And they forgot the loss of their peers.
وَنَسُوا — and they forgot. The wa- links this onto the previous clause with 'and', riding on a past-tense 'they' verb whose plural subject sits in the ending. The shared subject from before carries over, so the word continues the list of what those deceived people did.
