Arabic vocabulary
How to say “to provision oneself / to be provisioned” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَيَتَزَوَّدُ بِمِثْلِهَا،
So he would resupply himself with similar provisions.
فَيَتَزَوَّدُ — so he would resupply himself. The prefix fa- carries the story on as a follow-on, and the verb stays present to keep the habitual sense, 'he would resupply'. Its pattern is the reflexive 'do for oneself' shape, so the resupplying is done for his own use.
