How to say “Uqayl” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَقَالَ إِسْحَاقُ الْكَلْبِيُّ وَعُقَيْلٌ رَمْرَمَةٌ
And Ishaq al-Kalbi and Uqayl said, "murmuring."
وَعُقَيْلٌ — and Uqayl. A proper name prefixed with wa-, where the wa- adds a second narrator alongside the first. The wa- coordinates the two as joint subjects of the one 'said' verb, so both are credited with the variant.
