Arabic vocabulary
How to say “visit” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَأَرْصَدْتُهَا لِأَوْقَاتِ زِيَارَتِهِمْ،
So I set it aside for the times of their visits.
زيارتهم — their visits. An action noun with -hum ('their') attached, the owned member completing 'the times of their visits'. The action noun turns 'visiting' into a thing, the attached possessor makes it definite, and -hum ties it to the visitors. It sits in the genitive as the second member of the pairing.
