How to say “will be” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
يَكُونُ سَيْرُهُ عَلَى ذَاكَ الصِّرَاطِ،
His walk will be on that path,
يَكُونُ — will be. A present-tense 'to be' verb ('will be') with its subject built in, here pointing to a future state in the result clause. It equates the manner of his walking with how he walked in life. Arabic uses this explicit 'be' verb to frame a future 'will be X'.
