Arabic vocabulary
How to say “a lack” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَقِلَّةً مَقْدِرَتِهِ عَلَى مُدَافَعَتِهِ
And his lack of ability to defend his self.
وَقِلَّة — and a lack. The leading wa- adds 'lack' to the earlier 'weakness', so the two are joined as parallel things God knew about. The wa- here links two nouns inside the same statement rather than starting a new clause, continuing the description of the son of Adam's frailty.
