Arabic vocabulary
وَسَيَعُودُ is how you say “and he will return” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
قَالَ أَمَا إِنَّهُ قَدْ كَذَبَكَ وَسَيَعُودُ
He said, "But indeed he has lied to you and he will return."
وَسَيَعُودُ — and he will return. The connector 'wa-' adds the prediction to the disclosure; the verb it leads carries a future-marking prefix, 'he will return'. So 'wa-' joins two claims while the prefix sets the second one in time to come.
