Arabic vocabulary
How to say “and you” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
قَالَ بَقِيْتُ أَنَا وَأَنْتَ
He said, "I remain, you and I."
وَأَنْتَ — and you. This is 'and' fused to the standalone pronoun 'you' (masculine singular), one word for 'and you', completing the 'you and I' pairing. The 'and' coordinates the two named persons left. The separate 'you' is used because a pronoun cannot be coordinated while buried inside a verb.
