مُؤَلَّفَاتِهِ — his authored works. A plural noun with a 'his' tail pointing back to Ibn al-Jawzi, and it is the owning half of 'the number of his works'. As the second noun in that side-by-side possessive it sits in the after-a-possessor case and carries its owner inside the word.
