غَيْبَةٍ — backbiting. An indefinite noun in the 'of' (genitive) form because the 'from' before it governs it, naming the moral fault he does not avoid. Being indefinite, it presents backbiting in general; the 'or' that follows will offer a second, related fault alongside it.
