Arabic vocabulary
How to say “be disgraced” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَقَالَ اِخْسَأْ، فَلَنْ تَعْدُوَ قَدْرَكَ
So he said, "Get out in disgrace; you will not exceed your limits."
اِخْسَأْ — get out in disgrace. A command form aimed straight at the listener, a sharp rebuke telling someone to clear off. The imperative shape itself carries the 'you' and needs no pronoun; its bare, clipped form is what gives the order its forceful, dismissive bite.
