Arabic vocabulary
How to say “believe” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
ثَلاثٌ، صَدِّقْ بِاِثْنَتَيْنِ وَلا تُصَدِّقْ بِوَاحِدَةٍ،
Three: believe two and do not believe one.
صَدِّقْ — Believe. A bare command-form verb addressed to one listener, telling them to accept, with no separate 'you' because the order-shape itself implies the addressee. It opens the instruction. The imperative pattern is what makes it a directive rather than a statement.
