Arabic vocabulary
How to say “chests” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَلَكِنْ بِالدَّفْعِ فِي صُدُورِهَا وَالْأَعْجَازِ،
But by pushing at her chest and hindquarters.
صُدُورِهَا — her chests. A plural noun with -ha ('her') attached as owner, so 'chests' and 'her' are one word, and it is genitive because the preceding 'in' governs it. The 'her' refers to the personified revelation; the word names the place the pushing was aimed at.
