Arabic vocabulary
How to say “clearer” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَمَنَّتْهُ نَفْسُهُ أَبْيَنَ الْمُحَالِ
And his own self made the impossible appear more clearly to him.
أَبْيَنَ — clearer. A top-degree adjective, 'most plain / clearest', singling out the extreme. It heads a pair with the following noun, 'the plainest of impossibilities', and its accusative ending marks the whole as what his soul made him fancy. So it dressed up the obviously impossible as attainable.
