Arabic vocabulary
How to say “clearly” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
بَيِّنًا تَجْرِي بِرَاكِبِهَا عَثَرَتْ بِهِ أَيُّ عِثَارٍ،
Clearly, it was running with its rider, it stumbled on it—what a stumble.
بَيِّنًا — clearly. A noun in the object form used adverbially — 'clearly / plainly' — its tanwin ending signalling that it describes how the next clause is true rather than naming a thing. Arabic often turns a noun into a manner-adverb just by putting it in this object form. It frames the whole following picture as evidently so.
