How to say “come” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
قَالَ يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ تَعَالَ
He said, "Come here, Abu Dharr."
تَعَالَ — come here. A command-form verb, 'come here', aimed at a single male listener. Imperatives in Arabic have their own shape with no separate 'you', so the addressee is built into the verb's form as the one ordered to come.
