How to say “deceiver” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
ودجالا أفاكا كافرا عند أعدائه،
And a deceitful, lying disbeliever in the view of his enemies.
وَدَجَّالًا — and a deceitful one. The conjunction adds a noun, a great deceiver, on an intensive pattern, in the indefinite accusative. It continues the chain of what he was reckoned to be, the accusative carrying over from the earlier 'became', and the doubling pattern stresses habitual deceiving.
