Arabic vocabulary
How to say “destroyed” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وكلما نصب إبليس لي شركًا خرقت ذلك الشرك،
Every time Satan set a trap for me, I destroyed that trap.
خَرَقْتُ — I destroyed. A past-tense verb with 'I' built into its -tu ending, so the doer needs no separate word. The completed past presents the breaking of the trap as the speaker's settled answer each time the condition recurs.
