How to say “dinar” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَبَعْدَ حُصُولِ الدِّينَارِ لَا يُبَالُونَ،
And after they obtain the dinar, they do not care.
الدِّينَارِ — the dinar. A definite noun closing the small 'of' chain, 'obtaining of the dinar', so it takes the 'of'-style ending as the thing obtained. The two nouns sit directly together with no word for 'of' between them. Its case marks it as the owner/complement within that chain rather than a subject.
