Arabic vocabulary
How to say “doubt” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَشَكُّهُ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ وَالنَّبَوَاتِ
and his doubt about Islam and the messages of the prophets.
وَشَكُّهُ — and his doubt. The opening 'wa-' coordinates this noun with the earlier 'ruin', extending the same 'entered' frame onto it. The noun also ends in the attached '-hu' (his), a possessor reaching back to the same man, so it joins the subject as 'and his doubt', another thing that took root in him.
