رُفِعَتْ الْأَقْلَامُ، وَجَفَّتْ الصُّحُفُ
The pens have been lifted, and the pages have dried.
وَجَفَّتِ — and have dried. 'And dried', a doubled-root verb (its last two letters fused), feminine to agree with 'the pages' that follow. The image: the ink has dried, the record sealed.
