Arabic vocabulary
How to say “easier” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
قُلْتَ لِي يَا أَحْمَقُ وَلَوْ قُلْتَ لِي يَا أَرْعَنُ كَانَ أَسْهَلُ عَلَيَّ
You said to me, "You fool." If you had said to me, "You oaf," it would have been easier for me.
أَسْهَلُ — easier. A comparison-degree describing word meaning 'easier', built on a pattern that ranks one thing above another, serving as the predicate of the 'would have been' clause. The pattern itself carries the comparative force. It names how the outcome would compare.
