Arabic vocabulary
How to say “greatest of them” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَكَانَتْ مِنْ أَحْسَنِ الْأَشْكَالِ وَأَعْظَمِهَا،
She was among the most beautiful and greatest forms,
وَأَعْظَمِهَا — and greatest of them. 'Wa-' joins this to the previous superlative as a second item. The core is a superlative 'greatest' with '-ha' = 'them/of them' attached, pointing back to 'the forms', so 'and the greatest of them'; the suffix supplies the set being ranked.
