How to say “best” in Arabic, with pronunciation and real example sentences from OpenArabic texts.
بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
with the best of what they used to do
بِأَحْسَنِ — with the best. A preposition bi- ('with/according to') prefixed to a 'best/most' superlative form, which it governs into the genitive shape. The bi- frames the manner of the reward, 'in keeping with the best of...', and it opens an 'of' pairing with the relative clause that follows. So it both sets the manner and links to what comes next.

She was among the most beautiful and greatest forms,
أَحْسَنِ — most beautiful. A superlative adjective 'most beautiful', object of the partitive 'among' and so genitive. It heads an 'of' pairing with 'the forms' next, giving 'the most beautiful of the forms'; the superlative ranks the serpent at the top of that set.
