Arabic vocabulary
How to say “he felled him” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
لَقَى رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْإِنْسِ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْجِنِّ فَصَارَعَهُ فَصَرَعَهُ الْأَنْسَى
A man from among the humans met a man from the jinn; they wrestled, and the human felled him.
فَصَرْعِهِ — so he felled him. The 'fa-' again moves the action on, and the verb is past-tense 'felled / threw down'. Its doer is understood from context to be the human, and the next word names him explicitly for emphasis.
