How to say “he loses” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
إِلَى أَنْ يَخْسَرَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةَ ،
until he loses both this world and the Hereafter.
يَخْسَرَ — he loses. This present-tense verb has shifted into its subjunctive shape, triggered by the 'an' just before it, with the 'he' subject carried inside. After 'an' Arabic drops the plain present, so the changed ending signals the losing as the final point the whole decline arrives at.
