Arabic vocabulary
How to say “his judgment” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَمَنْ حَسُنَ عَقْلُهُ غَطَّى ذَلِكَ جَمِيعَ ذُنُوبِهِ
Whoever's judgment is sound, that covers all his sins.
عَقْلُهُ — his judgment. A noun for intellect/judgment carrying a '-hu' (his) fused at the end as possessor, 'his judgment', and serving as the subject of the preceding 'is sound' verb. Verb-before-subject is normal Arabic order, so this trailing noun is the doer. The suffix points back to the 'whoever' opening the clause.
