Arabic vocabulary
How to say “His servant” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
اللَّهُ أَفْرَحُ بِتَوْبَةِ عَبْدِهِ
God rejoices most at the repentance of His servant.
عَبْدِهِ — His servant. This noun is fused with an attached pronoun ('his') and is the second half of an 'of' pairing: 'repentance of His servant'. The genitive tail marks it as the owner term, and the suffix points back to God, so the servant is identified as belonging to the Lord, not to the nearest noun.
