Arabic vocabulary
حَمَلْتُهُ is how you say “I carried it” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
قَالَ فَحَمَلْتُهُ مَعَهُ،
He said, so I carried it with him.
فَحَمَلْتُهُ — so I carried it. A dense chunk: the 'fa-' (so/then) advances the story, fused onto a past verb whose '-tu' marks 'I' and whose '-hu' marks 'it' as the object. So one word holds the connector, the doer, the action and the thing carried. Arabic routinely packs a whole 'so I carried it' into a single form.
