Arabic vocabulary
How to say “intelligence” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَمَا حَبَّاهُمْ مِنْ فَطْنَةٍ وَذَكَاءٍ
And how He endowed them with keen perception and intelligence.
وَذَكَاءٍ — and intelligence. 'Wa-' joins this to the previous gift as a second item, so it too is governed by the explicative 'of' and stands in the genitive, indefinite (audible tanween). It names intelligence alongside keen perception.
