How to say “Jahsh” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَأَرْسَلْنَ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ جَحْشٍ،
So they sent Zaynab, the daughter of Jahsh.
جَحْشٍ — Jahsh. The owner half of 'daughter of Jahsh', set straight after the noun with no word for 'of'; being the possessor forces its genitive ending. That marker binds it to 'daughter' as one unit, naming her father.
