How to say “killed him” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَقَتَلَهُ سُلَيْمَانُ ﵇
So Suleiman killed him, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
فَقَتَلَهُ — so killed him. A 'so' is fused to a past-tense verb 'killed' that also carries a tail pronoun 'him', so consequence-marker, verb, and object are all packed into one word. The 'so' presents the killing as the verdict carried out. The attached 'him' points to the partner, the one executed.
