How to say “lump” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَحَلَبَ فِي قَعْبٍ كُثْبَةً مِنْ لَبَنٍ،
Then he milked into a small container a lump of milk.
كُثْبَةً — a lump. An indefinite noun, a small amount, serving as the object of 'milked', so it takes the object ending; its trailing '-an' marks it indefinite. It measures how much milk was drawn. The indefinite tail does the job of English 'a'.
