How to say “may be saved” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَكُنْ بَاحِثًا عَنْ دَفَائِنِ هَوَاهَا لَعَلَّكِ تَسْلَمِينَ،
And be searching for the hidden treasures of its desire, that perhaps you may be saved,
تَسْلَمِينَ — you may be saved. A present-tense verb whose '-ina' ending marks a feminine 'you' as the one acted upon, agreeing with the female listener. Standing as the wished-for result after the hope-particle, it reads as the salvation the speaker hopes she reaches.
