Arabic vocabulary
How to say “moderation” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
لأن الاعتدال مشروع
Because moderation is prescribed.
الِاعْتِدَالَ — moderation. This definite noun is the subject of the clause opened by 'because that', and its accusative ending is the direct result of that bracing particle, which always casts its subject into the accusative. So the case here is a grammatical signature of the preceding word, not a sign of any object role.
