How to say “moments” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَتَكْثُرُ نَوْبَاتُ الانْتِصَارِ وَتَقِلُّ
Moments of triumph come and go.
نَوْبَاتِ — moments. A plural noun acting as the doer of the verb just before it. Arabic often places the verb first and the subject after, so even though this follows the verb it is what does the increasing: the moments themselves grow more frequent.
