وأملحه أكذبه،
And the more amusing it is, the more deceitful it becomes.
وَأَمْلَحُهُ — and the more amusing it is. This is an elative ('the more charming / wittier') with an attached 'its', and it is the first half of a proportional pairing — 'the more... the more...'. Arabic builds that 'as X increases, so does Y' link by setting two elatives side by side, each carrying a pronoun.
