Arabic vocabulary
How to say “more deceitful” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وأملحه أكذبه،
And the more amusing it is, the more deceitful it becomes.
أَكْذَبُهُ — the more deceitful it becomes. This is the matching second elative ('the more lying') with its own 'its', completing the proportion: 'its wittiest is its most false'. The two elatives together, with no extra linking word, carry the whole 'the more charming, the more deceitful' idea.
