How to say “Muhammad” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
ووحيه المنزل على نبيه محمد ﷺ
And His revelation was sent down to His Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.
مُحَمَّدٍ — Muhammad. This proper name stands in apposition to 'his Prophet' just before, renaming the same person, so it shares that word's 'of' (genitive) ending under the governing preposition. Apposition lets Arabic identify someone by stacking a name directly onto the description with no linking word.
