Arabic vocabulary
How to say “my knowledge” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
لِعِلْمِي بِإِيثَارِكَ ذَلِكَ التَّرْتِيبِ
because of my knowledge of your preference for that arrangement.
لِعَلَمَيَّ — because of my knowledge. A 'li-' of cause fronts a noun closed by '-i' (my), so one word means 'because of my knowing'. The prefix marks the reason for the preceding act, and the suffix ties the knowledge to the speaker; the source spelling here is shaky but the cause-plus-'my' shape is clear.
