How to say “preferring” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
لِعِلْمِي بِإِيثَارِكَ ذَلِكَ التَّرْتِيبِ
because of my knowledge of your preference for that arrangement.
بِإِيْثَارِكِ — of your preferring. A 'bi-' prefix fronts an action-noun and a '-ki' suffix (your, feminine) closes it, so one word means 'by your preferring', the content the speaker knows. The prefix and possessor wrap the action, marking the listener, a woman, as the one who prefers.
