فَتَدْفَعُ الرِّياضَةُ العَوَارِضَ الْمُفْسِدَةَ

العَوَارِضَ — occurrences. This is the direct object of 'wards off', sitting in the accusative as the thing acted upon; its al- makes it definite. It is a broken plural, where the word reshapes its inner vowels to mean 'many' rather than tacking on a plural ending. Being feminine-treated as a non-human plural, it takes the feminine-singular adjective that follows.
