Arabic vocabulary
How to say “training” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَتَدْفَعُ الرِّياضَةُ العَوَارِضَ الْمُفْسِدَةَ
So training wards off the corrupting occurrences.
الرِّياضَةُ — training. This noun is the delayed subject of the preceding verb: it is training that does the warding-off. Its al- makes it definite and the nominative ending marks it as the doer, even though it trails its verb. The verb-then-subject order is standard, not emphasis.
