How to say “one who imitates” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَالْمُقَلِّدُ لِلْآرَاءِ الْمُتَنَاقِضَةِ الْمُتَعَارِضَةِ،
And the person who follows and copies the opinions that contradict and clash with each other,
وَالْمُقَلِّدُ — and the one who imitates. The wa- opens the clause with 'and'. The core is an active participle made definite, 'the one who imitates', naming a type of person as a fixed description rather than an action in time. It is the subject the long sentence is built around.
