How to say “opinions” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَالْمُقَلِّدُ لِلْآرَاءِ الْمُتَنَاقِضَةِ الْمُتَعَارِضَةِ،
And the person who follows and copies the opinions that contradict and clash with each other,
لِلْآرَاءِ — for the opinions. This is the preposition li- ('for/to') fused to a definite plural noun; li- governs it in the genitive. With the participle 'imitator' before it, the li- marks WHAT is being imitated, 'imitator OF the opinions'. The participle reaches its object through this preposition.
