How to say “peels” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَيُقَشِّرُهُ وَيُجَفِّفُهُ فِي الصَّيْفِ،
He then peels it and dries it in the summer.
فَيُقَشِّرُهُ — then he peels it. This single word packs three things: a leading fa- that chains this step onto the previous one as the next move in a sequence, the present-tense verb 'he peels', and an object ending -hu glued to the back. Arabic routinely folds the connector, the verb, and its object into one written word where English needs three or four separate ones. The -hu does not start a new noun; it points back to the dried plant being prepared.
