How to say “ran away” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَإِنْفَلَتَتْ مِنْهُ،
Then it ran away from him.
إِنْفَلَتَتْ — ran away. This is a past-tense verb in a pattern that adds a 'slip away by itself' sense, so the mount broke loose of its own accord. The '-at' ending makes it feminine singular, agreeing with the feminine mount, and the subject is carried inside the verb form.
