How to say “reach” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
الَّتِي تَتَنَاهَى إِلَى نِهَايَةِ الصُّعُوبَةِ،
which reach the very limits of difficulty,
تَتَنَاهَى — reach. A present-tense verb in the feminine 'it/they' shape, agreeing with the non-human plural antecedent of the relative clause; the doubled-pattern form carries a 'reach the utmost' sense. It states what those afflictions do, and it leans on the preposition that follows to name the limit they reach.
