How to say “regard as little” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَيَسْتَقِلُّ كَثِيرُ الْمَعْرُوفِ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ
And he regards much good deed from his self as little.
وَيَسْتَقِلُّ — and regards as little. Opens with a coordinating 'wa-' that pairs this clause against the previous one, building a balanced contrast: much he treats as little, little he treats as much. Fused to it is a present verb in the estimative pattern meaning to reckon something as small, with its 'he' subject inside. The connector marks the matched second half.
