Indeed, the revelation did not come to me.
الْوَحْيَ — the revelation. A noun carrying 'the', made definite to mean the specific divine revelation in view; it is the topic of the emphatic clause, governed by the 'indeed' particle into the accusative. It names what had not yet come.
